ಒಗಟು ಅವನಸ್ತಿತ್ವದ
ಪೂರ್ಣತೆಯ ಹುಡುಕಿ
ಇತರರ ಸಂಗಡದಿ
ಸಿಗದಾಗ ಹಚ್ಚಿದ
ಸಿಗರೇಟಿನ ದೀಪವ

ಉರಿವುದೇ ನಾನೆಂಬ ಬೀಡಿ
ವಿನಾ ಮನ್ನಣೆಯ ಬೆಂಕಿ ?
ಪೊಗೆಯ ದೀರ್ಘ ಶ್ವಾಸದಿ
ಸಿಕ್ಕಿತೇ ಆವನಿಗೆ ನೆಮ್ಮದಿ ?
ಸೋತು ಕೂತನು
ನುಗ್ಗಲಾಗದೆಂದು
ಗುಂಪುಗಳ ಚಕ್ರವ್ಯೂಹ
ಬಿಟ್ಟನು ಪೊಗೆಯ
ನಿಟ್ಟುಸಿರ

ಸಂಬಂಧಗಳ ಹುಡುಕಾಟ
ಅದರಿಂದಲೇ ಪೀಡಿತ
ಇತರರಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆ ಕಾಣುವ
ಸೋತ ಮನುಜ
ಕೂತ ಬಿಡಲು
ಪೊಗೆಯ
ನಿಟ್ಟುಸಿರ
